The role of the educator

More than a guide, it is the key to better concentration

The Montessori teacher acts as a guide, giving children the key to explore further. Their main role is to observe each child and provide them with appropriate presentations. These presentations allow children to learn at their own pace, working toward the ultimate goal of developing concentration.

Our Team

Purpose-designed environments for different age groups, where learning happens naturally

Montessori environments are designed for mixed-age groups because this facilitates children learning from one another and developing socially. A Montessori classroom is like a small community, giving children the opportunity to manage themselves. For example, a group of children takes turns serving lunch to the whole group. It has been observed that younger children learn simply by watching children work with more advanced materials.

In the elementary cycle, the focus is on children’s need to socialise, which is characteristic of ages 6–12. Materials and activities are therefore designed for small-group work or projects on a range of themes.

Young children come into the world with a profound inner strength

At Montessori Mureș, we give young children the confidence and opportunity to do things for themselves.

Even when they are very young, children naturally carry within them care, consideration and respect for the environment, for others and for themselves. These qualities do not need to be “planted” from the outside — they are already there, like an inner seed that needs only space, trust and freedom to sprout and grow.

A variety of camps and trips

We give children opportunities to gradually gain independence from adults, explore the world and discover what they are capable of.

Even before the age of 3, children can take part in camps and short trips, thoughtfully planned and tailored to their development. These experiences are more than just “outings”—they are meaningful learning experiences, where children learn to manage without their parents in a safe but new environment and begin to build confidence in their own abilities: “I can do it without Mom and Dad. I can manage. I’m capable.”

We are a best practice in developing Montessori pedagogy alongside Montessori trainers internationally.

Education for Life

Our vision

We support children in realizing that they are unique, that true strength and happiness lie within each of us, and that in this way they can adapt and integrate into Humanity and the entire Universe.

Montessori education respects the dignity of children and is tailored to their individual needs. Its fundamental principle is respectful freedom of choice in a prepared environment.

Fundația Montessori Mureș aims to support children in their journey of self-development and adaptation, helping them grow into conscious, free, responsible and happy adults.

We want a responsible community that encourages learning to flourish in peace and harmony. This way, every child can reach their intellectual, spiritual, social and emotional potential.

Our Values

Through healthy food and respect for nature, we can be a source of information and experience for parents as they educate their children for life.

In carrying out its mission, the Montessori Mureș Foundation aims to foster the following values:

  • Developing independence, responsibility and initiative in meeting their own needs as the foundation for self-confidence
  • Respect, care, and appreciation for people
  • Developing an active and harmonious relationship between children and their environment and the community they belong to
  • Cultivating a sense of satisfaction in work well done
  • Integration with the real world and the encouragement of creativity
